S. Orange Cops Arrest Man for Lewdness

South Orange police arrested a man for allegedly exposing himself to women in town and in Maplewood, according to the police blotter. On May 27, police arrested 22-year-old South Orange resident Kevin Davy and charged him with lewdness.

In other blotter items:

  • The Detective Bureau is investigating two jewelry thefts in May at residences on Underhill Road and Glenview Road. Both homeowners told police they had contractors working in their homes at the time.
  • A Holland Rd. resident told police someone entered her home on June 5 by breaking out a rear first floor window. The resident said several bedrooms were ransacked and jewelry and two laptops were missing. A neighbor told police she saw a man climb out of the victim's window carrying a large, black plastic bag and walk east down Kenmore Avenue toward Newark. Detectives are investigating the incident.
